A Creative Company Valuing Integrity and Respect

At Ka Pow Wow Entertainment, we believe that integrity is the essence of all success. We respect all people, cultures, beliefs, and preferences. Nothing is wrong with being different or having an alternative opinion from what is expected or commonly thought to be okay. We don’t need to force a person to think, behave, or look the way we do. In addition, we don’t need to change others because they believe something we may feel goes against our own beliefs or opinions.

We should learn to accept others for who they are and to develop a more open-minded, broader viewpoint. Accepting that people are not born the same and that our differences are what make us all unique and special is the first step in breaking through the barriers that have been limiting our growth as individuals and as a community.

Acceptance starts with RESPECT.

Accepting that people are not born the same and that our differences are what make us all unique and special is the first step in breaking through the barriers that have been limiting our growth as individuals and as a community.

Acceptance starts with RESPECT.

R = Religion

People follow different spiritual beliefs and practices in life. For each spiritual follower, there is only one God. However, we all view our own personal God differently, and our beliefs may vary from each other. There’s nothing wrong with being different and believing in different spiritual beliefs. Most religious or spiritual beliefs have some basic similarities.

As followers, we all want to honor our God, teach our children the beautiful aspects of our spiritual practices, and create the best quality of life for our families. Learning, understanding, and accepting the differences of all spiritual practices can open our minds to a spiritual awakening. Peace, love, and happiness can develop afterward.

E = Ethnicity

A person should not be judged by the shade of their skin, where they were born, or the ethnicity they identify themselves with. We should evaluate one another from the inside out―by our hearts, our kindness, and how we treat others. Additionally, we should value integrity, generosity, caring, honesty, and helping others above all else. It is also important to let go of stereotypes, prejudice, negative thoughts, and social injustice among us. Lastly, we should open our hearts and minds to people from all walks of life.

S = Sexuality

If the individual is a good person with a caring heart, does their sexuality or sexual preference matter? No! We all want to love and be loved. We want to be happy. We want to laugh and enjoy our time with the people we love and care for.

Accepting that all people have the right to love who they want, dress the way they want, and say who they are as individuals is the foundation of being a human being. Stop worrying about everyone else, and focus on your own happiness.

P = Politics

Democrats, Republicans, Conservatives, and Liberals have one thing in common―agendas! We hope for the day that we elect a true leader, who fights for all people and truly believes in the betterment of humankind. They will be a leader who isn’t concerned with book deals, destroying the opposing party, and pushing their personal or party agenda. We’ll wait for a government official who cares more about the legacy of our world and its people than personal fame or glory. We need someone who can work with all political parties for the benefit of our environment and the quality of our lives.

E = Education

Knowledge is power, and the lack of it is one of the greatest problems in our society. The rising cost of education and what seems to be an insurmountable student debt crisis have made an affordable education and a college degree unattainable for so many students.

Overcrowded public schools and ridiculous admission requirements in private schools seem to keep pushing the bar farther and farther away for most students. Does having a well-known school or university on your degree certificate mean a person is more capable? No! It’s not the university that determines the success of a student; it’s the individual who matters most. It’s what you do with the education that counts in the end.

We shouldn’t stereotype people because they couldn’t afford private education at a prestigious university. Instead, we should evaluate a prospective student or a new graduate based on their merits, capabilities, integrity, and overall individual character. People deserve a chance to prove themselves, regardless of background and the university name on their degree.

C = Culture

Culture comes in many forms: knowledge, religion, cuisine, arts, music, language, and social habits. We should appreciate each culture as we would our own. We should keep on exposing ourselves to the beauty of the vast array of cultures in our global community. When we stop to see, listen, taste, and explore the wonderful details that make up the culture of a particular nation, people, or social group, we will be amazed at what you will find.

In the evolving global landscape, cultural integration is becoming common as more and more people travel, explore, and experience the beauty of our planet and the people on it. Instead of looking down on a set of people or cultural norms, we should embrace diversity and open our minds to the beautiful aspects that make up our humanity.

T = Tradition

Traditions are stories, beliefs, rituals, and customs that are passed on from one generation to the next. They are important in building strong family relationships between generations. Tradition reinforces values such as freedom, faith, good education, strong work ethics, integrity, personal responsibility, and selflessness. It also serves as an avenue to establish role models and celebrate the things that really matter in life.

Instead of frowning upon the traditions of a particular group of people, we should approach new experiences with an open mind so we can understand and appreciate their cultures, personal histories, perspectives, and values. This will make us more accustomed to seeking and evaluating a range of different points of view, helping us develop and grow as individuals. Through these new experiences, we will understand other people more. They will help us in using our newfound knowledge for the benefit of the global community.
